Our designs have stood the test of time, and evolve with the ever increasing criminal threat. The fencing types range from cost effective systems to heavy duty perimeter barriers.

Combi Panel Fence

Combi-bar fencing is used to create an imposing security fence. It can be electrified only to the top of the panel or full height electrification can be fitted for maximum security.

Applications are for residential, lifestyle estates and key point security. Various panel types are available with each having its own strengths and weaknesses which relates to aesthetic appearances, strength of material and durability. Our range of combi-panel fences are as follows;

Combi Mesh Fence

Our Combi-Mesh was derived from the necessity to have a demarcation fence with a full height electrified fence. This is required by law if the fence is erected next to roads or areas where the electrified fence will be easily accessible to pedestrians, or a more secure fence type is desired. This fence type is the real “work horse” of all the electrified fences. It can be installed in terrain where it is impossible to fit.

Freestanding Fence

The Free Standing fence is the entry level of electrified fencing. It is generally specified for agricultural use or as an addition to an existing fencing system or pre-cast walls

FANG Free Standing Fence

Standard heights are, 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.4m, 3.0m and 3.6m with electrified strands at 100mm spacing.

All posts are to be hot dip galvanized after manufacture with the option of being painted.

Add On Fence

Due to the fact that most fences is not installed to withstand the tension of a multi-stranded fence, we normally plant new straining posts with the intermediate posts attached to the existing fence/ pre-cast wall posts. This fencing option start at a height of 2.4m up to 3.5m.

Walltop Electrified Fencing

Straight brackets are used for installation to pre-cast walls and panel fencing. Overhang bracket are installed to walls. The design must adhere to Municipal ordnance.

Combi-Bar Entry - 2.3m High

This specification is aimed at small to medium sized housing estates. Straining posts are 75mm square and intermediate posts are 60mm square. Panel size is 2.0m wide and 1.8m high. Infill sections of the panel are 27mm round or 19mm square at 150mm centers. Electrification strands are 5 strands to the top only. The manufactured fence is to be hot dip galvanized with the option to be painted.

Combi-Bar Standard - 2.3m High

The Combi-Bar Standard is a more economical version of the Combi-Bar Ultra, as the posts are 75mm square, with the option of 60mm square intermediate posts. Panel size is 2.5m wide and 2.0m high. Infill sections of the panel are 32mm round or 25mm square at 132mm centers. Electrification strands are 6 strands to the top with the option of 12 strands behind the panel. The manufactured fence is to be hot dip galvanized with the option to be painted.

Combi-Bar Ultra - 2.3m High

This is the flagship of bar panel type fencing. This specification combines an aesthetically pleasing design with is a high level of security. All the posts are 100mm square with an electrified cast iron cap. The standard panel size to be 3.0m wide and 2.0m high. Infill sections of the panel are 32mm round or 25mm square at 132mm centers.  6 N° strands are to be fitted (two stands in front of the panel and three above) to the outside of the property and 12 strands behind the panel. The manufactured fence is to be hot dip galvanized and painted.

Combi-Palisade - 2.3m or 2.6m High

This specification is aimed at the commercial segment. All the posts are to be 75mm square. The panel is standard 1.8 or 2.1m high and can be 2.0m, 2.5m or 3.0m wide. The pale use can be a rolled section with various shaped tops or be manufactured of angle iron.

The pales are welded to the top and bottom angle iron rails for additional security in lieu of being bolted. Electrification strands are 5 strands to the top with the option of 13 strands behind the panel. The manufactured fence is to be hot dip galvanized with the option to be painted.

Combi-358 Panel Fence (Commercial)

This is an high security fence as the panel is constructed of high stenstile Bezinal wire mm xmm with a weld strength of . The small apature mm x mm, makes it very difficult to cut using wire or bolt cutters. All the posts are to be 75mm square. Panel size is 2.5m wide and 2.0m high. Electrification strands are 5 strands to the top. The manufactured posts are to be hot dip galvanized with the option to epoxy coat the posts and panels. The 358 Bezinal panels are guaranteed against rust and corrosion for 10 years excluding the epoxy coating.

Combi-358 Panel Fence (Key Point Specifications)

358 Bezinal, 358 Bezinal dupla or 358 Bezinal double skin panels are used with 100mm square or 75x75x5mm angle iron post. Panel size can be made to various sizes with the maximum size being 3.0m wide x 6.0m. Electrification strands are 5 strands to the top.

Combi-Nylofor - Medium

To provide our client with a wider variety, we have introduced decorative panels. This fencing option will provide small to medium sized housing estates with an alternative fence design to the standard bar or palisade options. Straining posts are 75mm square and intermediate posts are 60mm square. Panel size is 2.5m wide and 2.0m high. Electrification strands are 5 strands to the top with the option of 13 strands behind the panel. This fence is guaranteed against rust and corrosion for 10 years.

Combi-Mesh Fence Entry

This range of combi-mesh was designed for the residential and estate application as it offers an aesthetically pleasing fence that does not have a “in your face” look and offers a high level of security.

The fence is also 2.4m high, but with 25 strands at 100mm spacing, and the mesh cladding is Betafence Pantenet (black) 2000x50x50x2.5m or Pantenet (green) 2000x50x100x2.0mm.  All posts are to be hot dip galvanized after manufacture and painted black or green respectively.

Combi-Mesh Fence 2.5m High - Standard

This is our entry fence is 2.4m high with 24 strands at 100mm spacing, 18 strands behind the mesh with 6 strands to the top of the fence.  The mesh height is 1.8m to comply with the minimum height regulation. Mesh cladding to be; galvanized or plastic coated chain link, Weldmesh, or Betafence Pantenet. Wire thickness of the mesh is 2.0mm, 2.5mm or 3.15mm.  All posts are to be hot dip galvanized after manufacture.

Combi-Mesh Fence 3m High - Industrial

The Industrial specification is the same as the standard, with the exception that the fence is 3.0m high with 18 strands behind the mesh and 12 strands above. The wire thickness of the mesh is 2.5mm, 3.15mm or 4.0mm.

Combi-Weldmesh

Corner/straining and end posts are manufactured of 100mm diameter mild steel tube, fitted with specially designed insulator holders, fire proof insulators and 50mm stays.

All posts and stays are hot dip galvanized in accordance with ISO 1461-1999 after manufacture and bedded in concrete footings size 600 x 600 x 600mm deep, at a maximum of 100m centres.

The 2.4m high fence comprises of 50mm tubular standards fitted with 24 Nº insulators rivet fixed at 100mm centres vertically.

Standards are planted in concrete footings size 300 x 300 x 500mm at approximately 3m centres.  The 2000 x 50 x 50 x  3.15mm core diameter galvanized weld mesh to be securely tied to four strands of 4mm diameter galvanized straining wires, with 2mm diameter galvanized tie wire, to the outside of the fence.

Eighteen Nº and Six Nº strands of 2.24mm Bezinal high strain wires to be fitted through the insulators on the inside of the posts, behind the mesh and on the outside of the posts, above the mesh respectively.

Freestanding Fence

FANG Free Standing Fence

Add-On Fence 2.4m High

Domestic Walltop Fence - 6 Strands

The entry level wall top electrified fence consist of straining brackets manufactured of  mm …. and intermediate brackets … Five strands of 1.2mm stainless steel to be fitted at 100mm centers. All brackets to be hot dip galvanized and epoxy coated after manufacture.

Standard Walltop Fence - 6 Strands

Our Standard specification has proven itself to be a very durable installation. Straining brackets are manufactured of 50mm x 25mm rectangular and intermediate brackets of 19mm square. Five strands of 1.2mm stainless steel to be fitted at 100mm centers. All brackets to be hot dip galvanized and epoxy coated after manufacture.

Industrial Walltop Fence - 10 Strands

Straining brackets are 60mm square with stays of 19mm square material. Intermediate brackets are 19mm square. The 10 strands of 1.6mm Bezinal wire to be fitted at 100mm centers will extend the wall with 1.0m. All brackets to be hot dip galvanized after manufacture.

Mimic Panel

Aluminium Mimic Panel

The mimic panel faceplate is manufactured of aluminium and mounted to a mild steel epoxy coated enclosure.

The complete site diagram indicating sectors, zones and gates are engraved onto the faceplate and then high lighted in black paint.

Three LED’s are fitted to indicate zones, which will light up when alarms are activated indicating the affected areas as well as the corresponding LED in the legend.  An alarm is accepted by means of a push button by the guard to accept and clear the alarm situation.

If field stations have being installed on the perimeter, their status armed/ disarmed is also indicated. Key switches are used to arm/ disarm the field stations.

To test the readiness of the mimic panel a lamp test button is fitted to witch all the LED’s on simultaneously.

The end result being a basic alarm monitoring system that is efficient, safe, dependable and completely adaptable for future modifications, additions or extensions.

Tiled Mimic Panel

The faceplate of the mimic panel is manufactured of Markrolon polycarbonate plastic grid and 24 x 24mm tiles, each having a matt surface finely textured to prevent glare and visible dust collection.  Tiles are extremely durable and scratch free.  The faceplate is mounted on the hinged lid of a mild steel epoxy coated enclosure.  For harsh environments a durable plastic enclosure is used with a additional see through cover.

The complete site diagram indicating sectors, zones and gates are sprayed in various colours onto the surface of the tiles, having a slight etching effect, thus resulting in a durable, washable, long lasting finish. If an area is damaged the tiles can be remove and newly engraved replacement tiles inserted.

Introduction

Due to the ever escalating levels of crime, and associated problems necessitate a perimeter security system that provides a high level of physical security, incorporating a modern display of alarm conditions and information gathered of an incident and the performance of the system. Integration with other security systems is also more and more in demand. The control system must also be user friendly at the lower levels of operation.

Historically and currently monitoring systems had;

  • Limited information available due to the low level of intelligence in the available systems.
  • Systems were prone to failures due to the use of low quality communication cable strapped to fences or buried, corroding rapidly creating false alarms.
  • High quality cable installed properly in conduit buried in the ground often created high costs.
  • Monitoring and control was basic, i.e. Zone in alarm energiser on or off mains power failure

Therefore Fang has developed over the last two decades our CSMS system to meet all the criteria of even the most stringent prospective user, flexible and powerful enough to be tailor made to each site’s individual requirements, whether a single site or multiple sites around the world.

The system makes use of telemetry, Wifi or fibre optic cable as communication medium between field stations and the centralized control station.

The control display can be the standard LED screen with keyboard or touch screen, both backed up with voice annunciation.

Remote connectivity to the system is also standard.
